SRC Automotive, Inc. is a leader in the remanufacturing of engines used in the Automotive, Marine, Natural Gas & Oil and Power Systems industries.
Our PM Tech performs routine preventative maintenance on plant equipment and machinery such as equipment lubrication, belt changing, dip tank change‑out, etc. As our PM Tech you will also perform simple routine maintenance work, janitorial duties, and assist Maintenance Techs with more complex maintenance projects.
This is a 2nd shift position working 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday-Thursday with overtime regularly required on Fridays and occasional Saturdays.
Primary Responsibilities- Performs routine preventive maintenance duties that include machine lubrication, chemical changes in wash/dip tanks, belt changing, and fire extinguisher inspections to minimize repair cost and prevent equipment failures.
- Work within the company maintenance tracking system to assist in maintaining a record of preventative and regular maintenance performed.
- Performs routine basic building and grounds maintenance such as minor electrical tasks, yard work, etc.
- Assist Maintenance Tech I & II with non‑routine maintenance as directed.
Work is performed with exposure to harsh conditions such as dust, fumes, noise, and varying temperatures for extended periods of time. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear.
Sitting 5%, standing/walking 95%. Frequently lift and or move 35 pounds to 50 pounds.
- Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Working experience with welding, electrical, plumbing, equipment installation, hydraulics, and air‑powered equipment
- Must be able to read simple instructions and follow simple diagrams
- Cannot be afraid of heights
- Ability to use hand tools and trades type tools.
- Ability to be certified on company forktruck and scissor lift equipment.
