Processing Associate, Day Shift

As a Processing Associate - Day Shift at Vital Farms, you will work in our manufacturing and production facility to wash, sort, and pack pasture-raised eggs from our family farms. This role at Egg Central Station (ECS) bridges the gap from local family farms to grocery stores for our consumers. You’ll be on your feet during a twelve-hour shift, moving, lifting, loading, and working in an air-conditioned, well-lit warehouse.

• 2-2-3 schedule: 2-week cycle
• Week 1: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
• Week 2: 2 days off / 2 days on / 3 days off

• Shifts:
  
  12-hour shifts
• Day Crew: 6am to 6pm
• Night Crew: 6pm to 6am

• Day Shift — $20.25 per hour

• Operate machines and robots to load, sort, and pack eggs
• Maintain sanitary conditions for optimal food production
• Follow procedures and perform quality checks to ensure egg standards
• Inspect supplies and ensure readiness for use
• Operate powered jacks to move supplies and product within the warehouse
• Other duties as required; flexibility to adapt as needed

• Must be able to speak, read, and write in English for safety and food quality
• 1 year of work experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 60 lbs
• Commitment to following all personal safety requirements
• Flexibility to execute other duties and production tasks
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, basic division
