Description
What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair die casting machines, hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and auxiliary production equipment.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Identify root causes of mechanical failures and implement effective, timely repair solutions.
- Fabricate, modify, and repair machine components as needed using machining and fabrication equipment.
- Assist with machine installations, equipment upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support production operations by ensuring equipment is operating safely, efficiently, and according to schedule.
- Complete maintenance work orders, inspections, and repair documentation accurately and timely.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while following all company safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance team members to improve equipment performance and reliability.
Requirements
What We're Looking For- Proven maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial equipment efficiently and safely.
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with production and maintenance teams.
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training, apprenticeship, or maintenance certifications are a plus.
