class ii ahu fabricator – 1st shift
location: albany, mo
shift: 1st shift | full‑time
pay: $21.50 /hour
responsibilities- ensure hardware and components match the bill of materials (bom)
- install components securely and minimize gaps, ensuring proper fit and alignment per the spec sheet
- prepare finished product for painting and shipping
- install hardware and custom parts into assemblies per specification for hvac units
- identify correct parts to complete assemblies by reading specification sheets and blueprints
- utilize rivet gun, air gun, knife, welding and other hand tools as needed
- operate bridge crane or hoist to move shipments from receiving platform to storage or work area
- perform preventative maintenance and minor machine repairs as needed
- adhere to the production schedule while maintaining safety standards
- ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and build plans: preferred
- previous experience in an industrial setting: plus

education / experience- high school diploma or ged preferred
- read and comprehend english (instructions, safety rules, shop‑floor paperwork, procedures)
- write simple correspondence
- present information to customers, clients, and employees in one‑on‑one or small group settings
- perform basic arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide) with whole numbers, fractions, decimals
- compute rates, percentages and interpret bar graphs
- apply common‑sense to follow written, oral, or diagram instructions
- handle problems with multiple concrete variables in standardized situations
- basic computer skills required
- operating a forklift: preferred
