Housekeeping Tech - Night Shift

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Department Manager, Housekeeping is responsible for providing a clean and safe environment throughout the plant.
• Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and wear required PPE while in the warehouse or production areas.
• Ensure compliance with food quality and food safety standards.
• Perform cleaning duties – sanitizing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pick-up/disposal, floor scrubbing, and restrooms across all plant areas including outside of the building.
• Dispose of all office recycling.
• Replenish paper products in restrooms and breakrooms.
• Understand various cleaning agents and their appropriate uses.
• Maintain and refresh all breakrooms after scheduled breaks, lunches and special events – cleaning tables, microwaves, cabinets, door handles, etc.
• Track cleaning inventory in supply cabinets and notify management when items need to be ordered or restocked.

• Experience in Food/ Beverage Manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read and understand safety data sheets (SDS).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an organized manner.
• Comfortable working independently and showing initiative.
• Knowledge of standard cleaning protocols and practices.
• Efficient in managing time to complete cleaning tasks within scheduled times.
• Effective communication with team members, supervisors, and other departments.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

• Work Schedule:
  
  Weekdays, weekends, afternoon, evenings, overnight, and holidays may be required. Overtime scheduled as needed.
• Work Environment:
  Operating in a fast‑paced production plant with numerous moving parts. Noise levels require hearing protection and temperatures can get very hot and/or relatively cold. The environment is structured and supervised.
