Royal Oak is looking fer a Packaging Technician

D. This position is responsible fer the operation of the machines required to package lump charcoal. Packaging technicians are able to operate and maintain one of the following pieces of equipment;
Scales, Bagger, Sewing Machine, Checkweigher, Bundler, and Wrapper.

LOTO Certified within 14 days of position/hire.

• Able to operate equipment at standard run rates
• Able to identify critical elements on each machine
• Able to perform basic corrective actions
• Able to perform a change-over with assistance
• Maintain a clean work area
• Identify quality issues
• May involve repetitive movements
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling as necessary
• Due to the open environment of the packaging area, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions
