Position Overview:

This role supports heavy‑haul railroad control systems through assembly and maintenance of components on the shop floor. The employee will work in a production environment, handling tools, operating semi‑automatic equipment, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety procedures.

• Basic assembly of components.
• Operation of semi‑automatic equipment, including production equipment and ultrasonic washers.
• Proper use of power and manual tools such as impact wrenches, drills, and hand tools.
• Proper use of machine and hand tools.
• Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.

• Technical Capacity – Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
• Good mechanical skills.
• Knowledge of shop tools.
• Organization skills.
• Time management.

Employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, handle tools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. The work environment includes exposure to noise, heat, cold, dust, and dirt.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years of related experience.

The anticipated wage for this role in Springfield, MO is $17.25 per hour, subject to factors such as experience and education.
