Assembler

Mon - Fri 6 AM - 2:30 PM, $17.25/hr

Day one!

Production Supervisor

• Basic assembly and building of product.
• Follow written procedural guidelines during the assembly process.
• Proper use of power and manual tools.
• Proper use of calibrated gauges, power and manual torqueing devices.
• Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
• Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
• Understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
• Understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.

• Technical Capacity
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
  • Good mechanical skills.
  • Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
  • Basic knowledge of quantitative methods/statistical procedures and graphic skills.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

The anticipated wage scale for candidates who work in Springfield, MO is $17.25 per hour. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. New York Air Brake is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.
