Chemical Packaging Technicians

Sirius Staffing is hiring multiple Chemical
Packaging
Technicians to join our client’s team in St. Louis, MO.

Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

$22.50/hour

This position is responsible for staging, filling, capping, labeling, packaging, and documenting liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products while following strict quality, safety, and ISO procedures.

• Stage raw materials and packaging components for production activities.
• Fill, cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products according to approved packaging specifications.
• Operate manual and semi-automated packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete packaging documentation accurately and maintain production records in accordance with ISO procedures.
• Verify product labels, lot numbers, and packaging specifications to ensure quality compliance.
• Deliver finished products to inventory and maintain accurate production records.
• Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
• Support quality systems and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with training new team members and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with company standards.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5–6 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing, chemical packaging, or production environment.
• SAP experience or familiarity.
• Experience working in ISO-regulated environments.
• Pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory manufacturing experience.
• Experience with chemical mixing, labeling, filling, packaging, and handling chemical products.
• Strong understanding of basic math calculations.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Ability to follow written procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Stable work history with demonstrated reliability.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
• Must be clean‑shaven daily to meet respirator and safety requirements.
• Ability to successfully complete respirator fit testing.
