Sirius Staffing is hiring multiple Chemical
Packaging
Technicians to join our client’s team in St. Louis, MO.
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay$22.50/hour
SummaryThis position is responsible for staging, filling, capping, labeling, packaging, and documenting liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products while following strict quality, safety, and ISO procedures.
Responsibilities- Stage raw materials and packaging components for production activities.
- Fill, cap, label, and overpack liquid, powder, and lyophilized chemical products according to approved packaging specifications.
- Operate manual and semi-automated packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Complete packaging documentation accurately and maintain production records in accordance with ISO procedures.
- Verify product labels, lot numbers, and packaging specifications to ensure quality compliance.
- Deliver finished products to inventory and maintain accurate production records.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Support quality systems and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with training new team members and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas in accordance with company standards.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5–6 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing, chemical packaging, or production environment.
- SAP experience or familiarity.
- Experience working in ISO-regulated environments.
- Pharmaceutical, biotech, or laboratory manufacturing experience.
- Experience with chemical mixing, labeling, filling, packaging, and handling chemical products.
- Strong understanding of basic math calculations.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Ability to follow written procedures and detailed work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Stable work history with demonstrated reliability.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing production needs.
- Must be clean‑shaven daily to meet respirator and safety requirements.
- Ability to successfully complete respirator fit testing.
