Position TitleRemanufacturing Technician I, $19/hr + $1/hr differential
Work ScheduleMon – Fri 2 PM – 10:30 PM
Reports ToProduction Supervisor
Essential Functions- Basic disassembly, washing, and assembly of parts.
- Identify serviceable vs. non‑serviceable parts.
- Operation of semi‑automatic equipment such as pedestal buffers, hand buffers, wash machines, and ultrasonic washers.
- Handle parts and tools in a safe manner.
- Proper use of power and manual tools, i.e., impact wrenches, drills, EZ Outs, hand tools.
- Understand and comply with all quality and safety rules, guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Technical Capacity
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance.
- Knowledge of generally accepted best practices and theory.
- Good mechanical skills.
- Knowledge of shop use of measuring devices.
- Ability to complete the disassembly process without destroying parts.
- Communication Proficiency
- Organization Skills
- Time Management
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work EnvironmentThe employee will be exposed to shop floor conditions such as noise, heat, cold, dust, and dirt. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to two years of related experience.
