How You Will Make a Difference

Reporting to our COO, you will have the opportunity to lead two plants and help shape and scale our manufacturing platform at a critical stage of growth.

As Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of plant operations including P&L, production processes, coordinating across plant and support functions, and supporting and leading highly skilled and talented teams whose craftsmanship, technical expertise, and operational discipline directly contribute to products that serve our military, veterans, and national defense priorities.

Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership & Execution
  • Provide strategic and tactical leadership across two precision machining facilities, including P&L, and ensure alignment between daily execution and broader business goals.
  • Plan, organize, and lead day-to-day operations across all shifts to meet customer demand, capacity requirements, labor needs, inventory targets, and production schedules.
  • Drive performance in on-time delivery, quality, throughput, asset utilization, cost management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing, vendor, inspection, and customer design issues that impact operational performance.
Performance Management & Continuous Improvement
  • Establish clear operational metrics, review performance daily, and lead corrective actions when targets are missed.
  • Collect and analyze operational data to identify waste, bottlenecks, unnecessary overtime, and other performance gaps; develop and implement effective countermeasures.
  • Drive KPI alignment across facilities, including OTD, OEE, scrap, labor efficiency, inventory turns, EBITDA, and other key operating metrics.
  • Improve setup reduction, machine utilization, spindle uptime, advanced planning and scheduling, cellular manufacturing, productivity standards, and return on assets.
Process, Systems & Strategic Improvement
  • Develop and standardize systems, processes, best practices, and performance targets that improve productivity while respecting site-level capabilities and customer requirements.
  • Align programming, tooling strategy, and process engineering with production goals.
  • Help drive margin expansion through operational initiatives, cost discipline, and strategic planning.
People, Safety & Culture
  • Lead plant safety procedures and maintain a strong commitment to achieving a best-in-class safety record.
  • Recruit, manage, and develop plant staff while building trusting relationships and a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

This position requires compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations. As such, candidates must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by applicable law (e.g., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or asylee/refugee).

Basic Qualifications (Required)
  • At least 10 years manufacturing leadership experience with at least five years in a Plant Manager Capacity
  • At least 7 years of experience in aerospace and defense precision/CNC machining
Preferred Qualifications (In Addition to Basic Qualifications)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
  • Experience leading PE-backed or high-growth organizations
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary:
Salary is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

  • Pay Range: $110,000 to $200,000 plus bonus
