Crane Operator

About the Role

You will spend your day brainstorming in an office cubicle, operating a crane, running manufacturing equipment, or troubleshooting technical obstacles, and you will receive training and support from your team to excel in your role and reach your full potential.

• Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follow safety regulations
• Operate production equipment in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
• Participate in the CMC Safety Programs and proactively uphold the CMC Safety Culture

• Ability to change priorities quickly, work effectively under time constraints and contribute to the team
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to perform repetitive motions including finger movements and twisting or pressure involving the wrists/hands
• Ability to sit for long periods of time
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift; frequent physical activity such as walking, climbing stairs, or reaching to work with equipment throughout the shift
• Ability to work in all weather conditions
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Experience in either recycling or manufacturing environment preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience operating heavy equipment required
• Minimum 1 year experience operating hydraulic cranes required

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
