Assembly - Weekend Shift

Position Title: Assembly

Wage: $19.50/hour

Shift: Weekend

Hours: 6:00am-6:00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday;
If working all 3 days, receive 4 additional hours paid

• Read and interpret work orders and production instructions
• Assemble products using hand tools, portable power tools, and other production equipment
• Use small tools, including grinders, to remove scratches, excess weld material, and burrs
• Coordinate the staging and sequencing of parts and production components
• Load and unload materials using pallet jacks, hand trucks, hoists, cranes, and other material handling equipment
• Operate a forklift and/or scissor lift upon successful completion of company training and certification requirements
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and are free of defects
• Complete daily production records and required documentation
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Report defective materials, equipment issues, and unusual operating conditions to the Team Lead or Supervisor
• Follow all company safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Participate in cross‑training opportunities and support other departments when needed
• Maintain dependable attendance and punctuality to ensure production schedules and team objectives are met
• Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with team members to support a safe and productive work environment

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, or construction experience required
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to use hand and power tools
• Forklift and/or scissor lift experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and work orders
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude and dependable attendance
• Frequently stand, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, grasp, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds required; occasionally lift up to 70 pounds; frequently participate in team lifts of 75 pounds or more
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and changing weather conditions
• Mandatory overtime may be required based on production needs
• Required PPE includes steel toe boots, long pants, hard hats, safety glasses, cut‑resistant gloves, and hearing protection (ear plugs)
• Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential to support production schedules and team success
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are expected
• Ability to work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday 12‑hour shifts; if present for all three days, receive an additional 4 hours of pay to make a full 40
