Shipping & Receiving Associate, Day Shift

Overview

• Receive various orders, including eggs, paper goods, and materials, using electric pallet jacks, forklifts, and scanners for efficiency.
• Load trucks to ship orders to distribution centers and grocery retailers with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Organize the finished goods area to support the FIFO method and ensure quality standards are met.
• Operate the DSI scanning system to monitor movement of finished goods.
• Create a positive customer experience for drivers and build pallets as needed for orders.
• Read and understand bills of ladings and sales orders to ensure efficient product movement.

• 1 year of shipping and receiving experience.
• Certified to operate a forklift or pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific instructions.
• Basic math skills and the ability to communicate in English for safety reasons.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch for extended periods; ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work safely in environments with wet conditions and adhere to personal and food safety requirements.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work area.
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to collaborate to achieve goals.
