** Job Summary
** This position reports to the shop foreman or his assignee, and requires direct contact with co-workers, subordinates, and peers.  The industrial assembler is responsible for product assembly and directly responsible for ensuring the accuracy of finished goods.  This job is a multi-skilled position and requires a keen eye for detail and physical dexterity.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, specifications, and parts lists.
* Knowledge and experience with the use of hand tools.
* Gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
* Perform production duties such as lifting, packaging, taping, sorting, and labeling.
* Advise management of found defects or safety concerns.
* Move product and inventory using material handling equipment.
* Maintain clean and safe working area.
* Maintains inventory and request supplies and materials needed to accomplish assigned tasks.
* Execute and document quality inspections.
* Assists other personnel as may be required to aid them in the completion of their work activities & duties.
* Other duties as assigned.
* General knowledge of industrial assembly, processes, and procedures.
