Senior CNC Machinist

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Make adjustments to machine programs and troubleshoot machining issues as needed.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Operate additional equipment including 3D printers, plasma cutters, and welding equipment.
• Assist with process improvements, machine setups, and production efficiency initiatives.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory procedures.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.

• s3+ years of CNC machining, precision machining, or related manufacturing experience
• Experience with CNC machine setup and operation (not just machine operation)
• Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience using precision measurement tools
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities

• Experience with HAAS CNC equipment
• Familiarity with G-code editing or programming
• Experience with TIG welding, plasma cutting, or 3D printing
• Knowledge of Mastercam, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practice
• Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, or other regulated manufacturing environment
