Supreme Cuisine is looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our industrial food manufacturing operations. This is not a restaurant management position. We are seeking a hands-on production leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is passionate about leading people, improving processes, and producing high-quality food products safely and efficiently.

About Supreme CuisineLocated in Montgomery City, Missouri, Supreme Cuisine is a growing food manufacturer producing premium sauces, broths, stocks, beef tallow, soups, and custom food products for retail, food service, and private-label customers across the country. What You'll DoAs Kitchen Manager, you'll be responsible for leading all daily kitchen production activities while ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and employee development.
Responsibilities- Lead daily industrial food production operations.
- Manage, coach, train, and develop production employees.
- Execute daily production schedules and adjust labor to meet production demands.
- Oversee batch cooking, mixing, heating, ingredient preparation, kettles, tanks, transfers, and product changeovers.
- Ensure recipes, formulations, batch records, and SOPs are followed precisely.
- Monitor cooking temperatures, processing times, product yields, downtime, and waste.
- Drive labor productivity and maximize equipment utilization.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement immediate corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate production records and manufacturing documentation.
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, sanitation, allergen controls, and traceability programs.
- Support USDA, FDA, SQF, HACCP, SOP, and SSOP compliance.
- Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Human Resources, and Plant Leadership.
- Conduct employee coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and recognition.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing or industrial food production.
- Experience supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food processing equipment, batch manufacturing, and production scheduling.
- Understanding of USDA, FDA, GMP, HACCP, SQF, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
- Ability to read and follow production schedules, formulas, recipes, and batch sheets.
- Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Comfortable working in hot, cold, wet, and fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
- High School Diploma or GED required; technical training or degree in Food Science, Manufacturing, or related field is preferred.
