Finishing/Quality Control Associate

PROMAN Staffing is currently looking to add to our Finishing/Quality Control Department in Springfield, MO. Experience running machinery is preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train if you are willing to learn. The ideal candidate would be able to take initiative and ownership of his/her work. Strong time management and strong attention to detail is a must. The job requires sitting and/or standing for long periods of time and lifting 30-50lbs.

Daily responsibilities include:

• Prepare for machine set-up
• Rewinding
• Load substrate, install tooling and rewind press rolls.
• Ensure that print, die cutting, and label count meet specifications.
• Identify and remove defects from finished rolls.
• Web press rolls through a rewinder and adjust feed and tension controls.
• Make quick corrections to avoid expensive losses of material.
• Apply correct identification labels to identify finished rolls, and stack orders on carts.
• Ability to understand and follow all customer specifications shown on job tickets.

The desired candidate must demonstrate the following:

• Stable work history
• Must be available 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong attention to details
• Dependable transportation
