As a Manufacturing Technician II, you’ll operate and maintain the equipment behind Sinse Cannabis’s extraction, distillation, and infused-product lines — turning raw biomass into the concentrates, oils, and formulations that stock dispensary shelves across Missouri. This is a hands-on, higher-level production role with one of the state’s leading vertically integrated cannabis companies, where your technical skill and attention to detail directly shape product quality.
You’ll work hands-on with Hydrocarbon Extraction, Ethanol Extraction, Distillation, and Centrifuge systems, following cGMP guidelines and standardized formulas to keep production running safely and efficiently. The Manufacturing Technician II operates and maintains the equipment used to produce Sinse Cannabis products, from extraction through formulation. This is a higher-level manufacturing role: you’ll run and troubleshoot Hydrocarbon Extraction, Ethanol Extraction, Distillation, and Centrifuge equipment, handle biomass and biowaste in compliance with state regulations, and perform lab bench work, filtrations, and Batch Record calculations to standardized formulas. You’ll train and qualify across the manufacturing processes in your area, keep accurate production data per SOPs and cGMP guidelines, and work closely with your team to hit production targets and resolve issues — all while following the safety protocols that keep our facility and our people protected.
WhatYou'll Do Equipment Operation & Processing
- Operate and monitor cannabis manufacturing equipment and processes, including Hydrocarbon Extraction, Ethanol Extraction, Distillation, and Centrifuges.
- Start up and shut down processing equipment, and perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning.
- Perform lab bench work and product filtrations.
- Train and qualify on the manufacturing processes of your assigned area.
- Process and formulate products, following standardized formulas.
- Prepare chemical solutions for processes, following standardized formulas.
- Accurately weigh, measure, count, and label materials and products.
- Perform Batch Record calculations.
- Record and maintain accurate production data and logs per SOPs and cGMP guidelines.
- Prepare and dispose of biomass and biowaste in compliance with regulations and internal SOPs.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines at all times.
- Handle and store chemicals safely, following all regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with team members across departments to achieve production targets and resolve issues.
- Assist in the implementation of process improvements and support investigations as needed.
- Use logical, effective problem-solving to make quick, quality decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by leadership, staying flexible to the needs of the department and business.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or certification in a mechanical or chemistry-related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a cannabis or manufacturing environment is a plus.
