Remanufacturing Technician 1st Shift

Position: Remanufacturing Tech 1

Shift: 1st

Pay Rate: $18.50

• Entry-level position responsible for assisting in the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, assembly, and testing of components or assemblies in a remanufacturing environment
• Focuses on learning remanufacturing processes, following detailed work instructions, and supporting higher-level technicians while maintaining quality and safety standards

• Monday-Friday
• 6:00 AM-2:30 PM

• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble components following established work instructions and procedures
• Perform basic inspections to identify obvious wear, damage, or defects
• Assist with repairs, part replacements, and adjustments under supervision
• Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and correctly
• Support functional testing and quality checks as directed
• Read and follow work orders, job instructions, and standard operating procedures
• Accurately record work performed and parts used
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and PPE requirements
• Notify leads or supervisors of quality concerns, defects, or safety issues
• Support team members and assist Level 2 or Level 3 technicians as needed

• High school diploma or GED
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn remanufacturing processes
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic knowledge of hand tools or mechanical assembly preferred
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

• Prior manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience
• Technical training, vocational coursework, or on-the-job mechanical experience
• Familiarity with basic measuring tools

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance
• Ability to work in a manufacturing or shop environment

• Manufacturing or remanufacturing facility
• Exposure to machinery, tools, oils, and cleaning materials
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required
