Job Summary

Student status work-study optional – you are not required to be a Federal Work Study recipient to hold this position. The role is located at the Springfield Campus and falls under the Strategic Communication department. Compensation is $15.00 per hour, with a full-time authorization required. Working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and the position requires 5–10 hours per week.

We’re looking for a creative, camera‑ready content creator to bring the Mo State experience to life on our official Tik Tok and Instagram Reels. You’ll work alongside our social media coordinator to brainstorm ideas, plan content, and create videos that showcase what it’s really like to be a Bear. From Homecoming and your favorite study spots to campus traditions and the latest trends, you’ll help tell the story of Mo State through content students actually want to watch.

• Conceptualize and produce engaging Tik Tok and Instagram Reels content that aligns with the strategic communication objectives.
• Collaborate with the social media coordinator to brainstorm, plan, and schedule content across both platforms.
• Capture, edit, and post videos that authentically represent the student experience and campus culture.
• Maintain a consistent posting cadence and ensure all content meets brand guidelines and deadlines.

• Creative and innovative content creation skills.
