About the Role:
KPM is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Marketing Intern to support our team with a blend of technical and administrative marketing tasks. This part-time position (15 hours/week) is ideal for a student looking to gain hands‑on experience in a professional services marketing environment. This internship is offered year round and is not limited to one semester. The ideal candidate will need to be available to start in August 2026.
ResponsibilitiesClient & Prospect Activities
- Print, bind, and assist with proposals and other deliverables
- Track lead and prospect activity in CRM
- Assist with client congratulations and referral gift fulfillment
- Prepare marketing materials for client and prospect meetings
- Prepare marketing materials and promo items for conferences and recruiting events
- Complete administrative follow-up tasks after events
- Assist with recruiting campaigns and new hire engagement tasks
- Monitor and maintain promotional item inventory
- Support KPM CARES programs, including Clients with a Cause and Community Cash activities
- Draft the firm’s weekly client newsletter and help prepare monthly industry newsletters
- Review and edit weekly articles for SEO and formatting
- Help manage engagement with firm accounts
- Assist with content creation, including photos, stories, Reels, and employee takeovers
- Post articles, news, and events to the website
- Assist with minor edits and content updates
Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Linked In, Instagram, Facebook)
- Strong writing, proofreading, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a professional setting
- Experience with Canva or Word Press is a plus (training available)
