Job Summary

Queen of All Saints Catholic Church is seeking a faith-filled, energetic, and relational leader to serve as our Coordinator of Youth Ministry. This position is primarily focused on accompanying and evangelizing high school students while helping them grow into lifelong disciples of Jesus Christ within the Catholic Church.

Queen of All Saints is open to filling this role as either a full-time or part-time position depending on the gifts, experience, and availability of the candidate.

The Coordinator of Youth Ministry will lead and grow the parish high school youth ministry program while also assisting in Confirmation preparation for parish youth. This individual should have a passion for sharing the Catholic faith, building authentic relationships, and creating opportunities for teens to encounter Christ through prayer, community, service, formation, and the sacramental life of the Church.

We are seeking someone who is self-motivated, collaborative, and excited to bring energy, creativity, and initiative to an already active ministry.

Job Responsibilities
  • High School Youth Ministry
  • Lead and coordinate the parish high school youth ministry program.
  • Plan and lead weekly youth ministry gatherings and events.
  • Foster authentic relationships with teens and families through consistent presence and engagement.
  • Create opportunities for prayer, discipleship, retreats, service, fellowship, and faith formation.
  • Recruit, support, and collaborate with volunteers and core team members.
  • Encourage teens toward a deeper sacramental life and active participation in the Church.
  • Coordinate retreats, conferences, social outings, and service opportunities, including participation in the Steubenville STL Mid-America Conference and regional events.
Confirmation Preparation
  • Assist in leading the parish Confirmation preparation process alongside parish volunteers and leaders.
  • Teach select Confirmation sessions and help coordinate Confirmation events and retreats.
  • Lead and coordinate the Luke 18 retreat in collaboration with parish youth and volunteers.
  • Build relationships with 8th grade students as they transition into high school youth ministry.
  • Maintain a presence with 8th grade and PSR students to help foster connection and continuity into parish youth ministry.
Parish & Community Engagement
  • Maintain a visible and relational presence within parish life, including school events, youth activities, parish functions, and engagement with 8th grade and PSR students transitioning into youth ministry.
  • Collaborate with parish staff, clergy, school leadership, PSR leadership, parents, and volunteers.
  • Communicate regularly with youth and families through various communication platforms and parish media.
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Archdiocese of St. Louis Office of Youth Ministry.
Job Requirements
  • Be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  • Possess a strong understanding of and fidelity to Catholic teaching.
  • Demonstrate a passion for evangelization and youth ministry.
  • Have the ability to connect relationally with teens, parents, and volunteers.
  • Be organized, self-directed, and capable of working independently.
  • Possess strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Be comfortable using technology, social media, and communication tools to engage youth and families.
  • Have experience in youth ministry, education, ministry leadership, or a related field.
  • Be available to work evenings and weekends as required for ministry events and activities.
