Access and Kidslife Ministry Coordinator
Full‑time position serving, assisting, and leading in family ministry through the Access ministry throughout the church, primarily in Kidslife. The Coordinator works with the Family Pastor and strives to serve kids, students, and adults with disabilities and their families, leading out in a developmental capacity within Fellowship Bible Church. The role works alongside the Kidslife Director to equip and influence children and families with the truth of the Gospel.
PositionObjective
To serve, assist, and lead out in family ministry through our Access ministry throughout the church, but primarily in Kidslife. The Coordinator will work with the Family Pastor, serve kids, students, and adults with disabilities and their families, and lead out in a developmental capacity with Fellowship Bible Church, working alongside the Kidslife Director to equip and influence children and families with the truth of the Gospel.

To see the gospel and the church made accessible to every person or family with disabilities. To serve on the Family Ministry team and help lead the children and families of Fellowship Bible Church.

- In charge of the spiritual direction and health of a leadership team.
- In charge of disseminating the spiritual vision and mission of the church.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Evaluate church facilities for accessibility (physical, ASL, sensory, communication).
- Ensure safety and best practices in all ministry environments.
- Partner with ministry leaders to adapt programming.
- Maintain policies that ensure dignity, safety, and excellence.
- Develop appropriate accommodations for worship services, children’s ministry, student ministry, life groups, and other events in the church.
- Use the adapted toy drive and the workshop as ways to reach out to the community.
- Serve as a bridge between the church and the disability community.
- Manage ministry budget and resources.
- Communicate regularly with families regarding events, expectations, care, and updates.
- Support and care for volunteers.
- Fulfill the Fellowship Kids leader schedule weekly.
- Updating and maintaining a master schedule weekly.
- Coordinate and staff all Fellowship childcare events.
- Be on‑call for last‑minute sign‑ups and needs for childcare events as well as weekend services.
- Assist in onboarding training of all new volunteer leaders.
- Because of these job responsibilities, Fellowship Bible Church deems that this job meets the requirements of the ministerial exemption.
