As a Registered Nurse, you will be a trusted partner in our patients’ recovery journeys. You will:

• Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process – Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation.
• Collaborate closely with patients, families, and our interdisciplinary care team to create personalized care plans.
• Monitor and communicate changes in patient conditions to physicians, supervisors, and colleagues.
• Play a key role in the discharge planning process to support safe, successful transitions.

• Graduation from an accredited BSN, ADN, or nursing diploma program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.

• CPR/BCLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• CRRN preferred.
• Minimum six months’ medical/surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital - Springfield provides inpatient rehabilitation services for patients recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions. We are accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC) and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) for inpatient rehabilitation.
