- POD 3 services:
Cardiac including minimally invasive, heart failure, and heart transplants;
Thoracic, robotic and lung transplants plus vascular and endovascular surgery - 13 operating rooms in South West Tower on BJH Main Campus
- 3‑12 hour shifts (10:30–23:00)
- No Call
- Cardiac, thoracic, and vascular services
- OR experience preferred

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
Responsibilities- Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.
- Performs surgical scrub duties and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.
- Assists in turning over of room and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
- High School Diploma or GED
