Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Serves the medical cardiac population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. The types of patients we serve are those with multisystem management needs such as heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes and gastro-intestinal conditions. We also coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti-coagulation therapies.

• New Grad: $5,000 Sign On Bonus
• 1-2 years’ RN experience:
  Sign On Bonus $13,000
• 3-4 years’ RN experience:
  Sign On Bonus $15,000
• 5+ years’ RN experience:
  Sign On Bonus $20,000

• Up to $20,000 Loan Forgiveness for new grad nurses
• Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 per year

Weekend Differential

Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am

• Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential
• Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential
