Job Overview

MO-SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital - Jefferson City, Missouri.

• Directs services, workflow, and resources for assigned nursing area(s).
• Develops departmental goals and objectives consistent with medical, administrative, legal, and ethical requirements.
• Directs clinical activities, including patient assessment, care plan development, service level determination, patient visits, and complaint management.
• Plans, organizes, and directs all activities related to staffing, including hiring, orienting, evaluating, and continuing education initiatives.
• Prepares and monitors budget(s) and ensures that assigned nursing area operates within allocated funds.

• Master's degree in nursing or related field (Bachelor's in Nursing acceptable if Master's not held).
• Three years registered nurse experience, including one year in direct people management/leadership.
• Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
• Basic Life Support (BLS HSP) certification per American Heart Association.
• Valid Registered Nurse license in Missouri or Compact State.
• Day shift work schedule.
