Overview
Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for opportunities in the Springfield, MO area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare environment, delivering high-quality patient care in our state-of-the-art centers.
Responsibilities- Urgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu-like symptoms, cuts, sprains and minor infections.
- Functioning in lieu of or alongside a physician; it is essential to have excellent assessment skills to recognize more serious conditions and direct the patient to the emergency room for advanced care when necessary.
- Daily Volume Bonus: paid monthly based on patient visit metrics met per shift.
- Quarterly Bonus: up to 5% of clinical base salary based upon customer satisfaction scores and quality measures.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Physician Assistants) or Master's Degree (Nurse Practitioners).
- 2-5 years of post-residency clinical experience required; minimum 18 months in the applicable practice setting.
- Adult and pediatric practice experience strongly preferred.
- National Certification;
Active state medical licensure (ANNC or AANP). - Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room settings; applicable office procedures including suturing and splinting.
