36. Shift: Night (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Join an interdisciplinary team focused on patient transition to home. Provide daily care for adult patients ranging from cardiac to trauma, ortho, and neuro. Deliver immediate care and education for successful home transition.

• Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $4,000

The Medical‑Surgical nurse is responsible for managing the care of adult or geriatric patients with general medical conditions or general surgical procedures.

Responsibilities include:

• Assess patient condition
• Administer medications
• Change dressings
• Monitor vital signs
• Maintain records
• Provide patients and families with support and education

• Education: Graduate of an approved practical nursing program
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, effective scope-of-practice knowledge, time management, strong critical thinking/problem solving, flexibility and ability to multitask
• Licensure: Must pass NCLEX‑PN within 90 days of graduation and obtain BLS within 90 days
• Register: Licensed Practical Nurse

The LPN provides direct care for adult/geriatric patients in prolonged general medical or post‑operative recovery.

• Medication administration
• Dressing changes
• Vital signs and skin integrity monitoring
• Documentation in medical record
• Support and education for patients and families

• Education: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• Experience: Previous nursing experience preferred
• Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, scope-of-practice knowledge, time management, critical thinking/problem solving, flexibility and multitasking
• Licensure: LPN license and IV certification active in Missouri
• Other: BLS obtained within 90 days
