Registered Nurse - Assistant Nurse Manager - Neuro West Tower South Night Shift

Job Summary

Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes. Provides direct and indirect care to patients and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy. Inspires confidence and motivation to enhance employee satisfaction.

• Assess and identify patient needs and plan appropriate nursing care.
• Implement nursing interventions and evaluate patient progress.
• Lead a team of nurses and support staff to achieve patient care objectives.
• Document nursing care and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.

• Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred:
  At least five years of clinical experience, one year as a charge nurse, and one year of experience in a neuro specialty area.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership abilities.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking skills.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.

• Required:
  
  Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
• Encouraged:
  Specialty certification in neuro or related fields (e.g., ACLS, Trauma, NIHSS).

• $1.00 certification pay.
• $1.00 BSN pay.
