The pediatric registered nurse provides care to infants, children, and adolescents. The pediatric nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, and providing nursing care for children suffering from a wide variety of conditions including diseases, illnesses, and recovery from procedures. This position is part‑time registered nurse and part‑time educator.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Preferred:
  Previous nursing experience

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities
• Exhibits valuable time management skills
• Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment

• Required:
  
  RN license active in the state of Missouri
• Required:
  
  BLS must be obtained within 90 days
• Must obtain PALS within one year of hire
