The Vascular Access Department is a team of specialized nurses providing ultrasound-guided vascular access, including PICC lines and peripheral IVs. The team works in the hospital setting and provides vascular access in other community facilities.

• Provide ultrasound-guided vascular access (PICC lines, peripheral IVs).
• Utilize excellent IV and assessment skills across critical care, pediatrics, and adult medicine.
• Conduct assessments and place vascular access in various clinical settings.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

• Preferred:
  Previous nursing experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
• Strong time-management skills.
• Strong critical thinking/problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment.

• Required:
  
  RN license active in the state of Missouri.
• Required:
  
  BLS certification must be obtained within 90 days.

$1.00 Certification pay, $1.00 BSN pay, Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000.
