Mercy Marian Center in Springfield, MO, is a short‑term acute inpatient psychiatric facility for adults, providing intensive and general mental health care. Patients receive 24/7 nursing support, psychiatric evaluations, and individualized treatment through a collaborative team of psychiatrists, nurses, medical providers, and social workers, along with individual, group, and family therapy.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of a state approved School of Nursing. - Licensure:
Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. - Certifications:
Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Other certifications as required by role.
