Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Nurses work 7a-7p or 7p-7a with rotational weekends. Full Time and Part Time available.

Sign-on Bonuses (night shift only):

• New Grad: $5,000
• 1-2 years RN: $13,000
• 3-4 years RN: $15,000
• 5+ years RN: $20,000

• Graduate or upcoming Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state or applicable compact licensure, and meeting all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements:
  
  push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking each shift; must be able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
• Experience:
  
  Must be new or experienced RN. 1-2 years required for sign‑on bonus categories.
• Clinical Unit:
  The 4B Cardiac Unit, a 31‑bed unit focusing on adult cardiac, drug loading, post‑Angio, CHF, vascular, and medical patients. Shift schedules include days and nights, with weekend rotation every 2 weeks. Clinical skills: telemetry monitoring, pacemaker/ICA care, post‑Angio care, TR band, BiPap, 5 main medication drips.

• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Consideration given for comparable education, experience, and successful licensure.
• Responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state. Must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
• Preferred certification: IV Certification.
• Physical requirements:
  
  stand/walk most of the time on duty; significant bending and stooping; capable of lifting and turning patients with assistance; push/pull/grip up to 50 pounds.
• Experience:
  
  Can be new or experienced LPN.
