Registered Nurse - NTICU Day Shift

Job Overview

Registered Nurse – Neuro Trauma ICU (Day Shift).

Location:

Cox Health South, 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, Missouri. Scheduled weekly hours: 36, from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM.

• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
• Maintain accurate patient records and provide patients and families with support and education.
• Use a wide range of medical knowledge to care for a diverse patient group.
• Collaborate with nursing support staff and interdisciplinary team to ensure high‑acuity patient care.
• Maintain documentation and communication in accordance with department standards.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.

• Preferred:
  Previous nursing experience in high‑acuity or critical care settings.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective leadership abilities.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills.
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills.
• Flexibility to work in an intense, multi‑tasking environment.

• Required:
  
  Active RN license in Missouri.
• Required:
  
  Basic Life Support certification within 90 days of hire.
