Certified Nurse Assistant, Nurse Assistant, or Apprentice - Ortho-Neuro - Night Shift

Hours:

36 hours (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM).

Work Shift:

Night Shift.

Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and other duties as assigned. Obtain information on patient condition as requested by nursing staff, and report any changes in patient condition.

8‑bed high‑volume unit that treats a wide range of complex conditions, including stroke, trauma, and neurosurgical cases. Opportunity to work with diverse patient population from ages 18 to 102.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long‑term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist within the past 36 months
• Completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 36 months
• Completion of the “Fundamentals of Nursing” course with clinical experience in an accredited nursing or practical nursing program
• Possession of Missouri CNA license (to be obtained within 120 days of hire)

• Strong time‑management and analytical/problem‑solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
• Conscientious, thorough, accurate, and reliable in performing job tasks
• Consistent and timely attendance

• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire
• Certified Nurse Assistant or Nurse Assistant preferred; must hold or obtain Missouri CNA license within 120 days of hire
