Registered Nurse - NTICU Night Shift

Job Summary

The critical care nurse provides direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. Responsibilities include assessing the patient’s condition, performing diagnostic tests, initiating treatments, assisting physicians with procedures, and monitoring and adjusting specialized equipment such as intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, and ventilator settings.

• Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Previous nursing experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates effective leadership abilities.
• Exhibits valuable time management skills.
• Strong critical thinking/problem‑solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment.

• Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri.
• Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days.
• ACLS must be obtained within one year of hire.

  Cox Health South – 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, MO 65807.
• Department:
  Neuro Trauma ICU South.
• Shift: Night (6:30PM – 7:00AM).
• Hours:
  
  36 per week.

• Up to $10,000 Sign‑On Bonus.
