- Perform administrative duties: answer phones, schedule appointments, and data entry in medical records.
- Perform clinical duties: measure and record vital signs; collect demographics and medical information including review of medication list; prepare patients for examination; clean rooms and equipment; stock supplies.
- Administer medications as ordered by the physician.
- Perform specific competencies as directed by the department.
- Graduate of a state board accredited practical nursing program.
- Preferred:
Previous nursing experience, particularly in outpatient or ambulatory clinic setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Carry out delegated tasks as directed by supervisors or with provider oversight.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Required:
Current License Practical Nurse or Graduate Practical Nurse active in the state of Missouri. - Preferred: IV certification in State of Missouri.
