Position DetailsMercy Hospital Springfield – Medical 6b
Part‑time:
Rotational Shifts
Days – 0630 to 1900
This medical floor specializes in the care of patients with pulmonary and respiratory conditions, including COPD, pneumonia, asthma, and other lung‑related illnesses. The team provides focused treatment, respiratory support, patient education, and coordinated care to promote recovery and improve breathing health.

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for the provision of patient care for assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct caregivers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Qualifications- Education:
Graduate of a state‑approved School of Nursing. - Licensure:
Personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, and must meet all state board of nursing requirements. - Certifications:
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or completion of a required course within the probation period. Other certifications as required by the role.
