RN Med Surg 7B Part Time Nights

Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinates patient care with other departments, maintains patient rights and confidentiality, and upholds organizational standards and values.

• Assessing and planning patient care for complex medical-surgical conditions.
• Managing patients with multi-system needs such as infectious diseases, wound care, respiratory issues, diabetes, and post-surgical recovery.
• Coordinating care for procedures like surgeries, endoscopies, infusions, chemotherapy, and anticoagulation therapies.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care delivery.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license in the applicable state or valid compact license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.

Utilize nursing skills to deliver comprehensive patient care, evaluate care outcomes, and coordinate with healthcare teams within a supportive and growth-oriented environment.
