Role Overview
The Charge Registered Nurse utilizes theoretical concepts to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with professional standards.
Qualifications- Graduation from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
- Current RN licensure within the state or compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on the unit.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform various movements during shifts.
- Lead nursing care delivery, ensuring adherence to standards.
- Coordinate patient care and collaborate with healthcare team members.
- Maintain required certifications and licensure.
