Facility:
Cox Health South – 3801 S National Ave, Springfield, Missouri 65807.
Department:
Cardiac 400 W South.

Schedule:

36 hours per week,  (Day Shift).

Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff, including but not limited to taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens, and performing other assigned duties. Obtain information on patient condition as requested and report any changes to nursing staff.

• Take vital signs and document results.
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Move and reposition patients safely.
• Change linens and maintain a clean environment.
• Obtain patient condition information and report changes to nursing staff.
• Perform additional care tasks as instructed by staff.

• Education:
  
  High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  At least 3 months as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long‑term care setting, or completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years.
• Skills:
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication; strong time‑management; analytical/problem‑solving; ability to multitask.
• Licensure: BLS certification within 90 days of hire;
  Missouri CNA license required, to be obtained within 120 days if not already held.
