Work Shift:

Night Shift.

Provide basic patient care under the direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, change linens and other duties as assigned. Obtain information on patient condition as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition.

• Take vitals and perform basic assessments.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Move and reposition patients to prevent bed sores.
• Change linens and maintain cleanliness of patient rooms.
• Obtain and report information on patient condition to nursing staff.
• Follow instructions from clinical educators and nursing staff during clinical rotations.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long‑term care setting, EMT, or surgical technologist within the past 3 years; OR completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years; OR completion of the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program; OR Missouri CNA license within 120 days of hire.
• Must have BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and strong analytical/problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in a multi‑tasking, fast‑paced environment.
• Consistently available for work and reliable in completing job tasks.
