Overview:
Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Position Details:

• Located at the MERCY REHABILITATION HOSPITAL
• SPRINGFIELD, MISSOURI
• FULL TIME

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure:
  Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Certifications:
  
  Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe:
  Basic Life Support (BLS);
  Other unit-specific certifications as required.

Physical Requirements:

Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking during each shift; the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.

Anesthesia Coverage Needs:
Monday
- Thursday 7a-5p;
Friday: 7a-3p

Call Details:
Call is Optional weekday call 3p-7a, 1 weekday call per week, 1 weekend per month (24 weekend call)

Credentialing timeline: 30 days

Supervision Model

Case Types:
General, GI, OB, Endo, Cardioversions, Cath Lab, Epidurals

Qualifications:

• Board Certification: CRNA
• License required: yes
• DEA:
  No
• CSR: yes
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Minimum experience required: 1 year min.
