Qualifications & Skills- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Valid RN license for the state or within a compact licensure agreement.
- BLS certification required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications may be necessary based on the unit.
- Physical ability to lift, push, pull 50 pounds, and perform prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
- Perform nursing duties using the nursing process.
- Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Maintain compliance with organizational standards and mission.
