Occupational Health Nurse; PRN

Responsible for providing comprehensive workplace medical and/or wellness services, which may include patient triage/evaluation/referral into the health care system, phlebotomy, immunization administration, BLS instruction, hearing testing and other testing/duties as company-specific/contracted needs arise per OSHA guidelines. May require supervision of HRA team members as well as oversight and implementation of program-specific policy and procedures. Requires ongoing up to date knowledge of OSHA guidelines, workmans Compensation laws and FMLA guidelines.

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Minimum three years clinical experience.

Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within their probation period. Excellent communication and organization skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills and facilitation skills. Knowledge in medical and allied health services. With a strong interest in promoting health, wellness, safety & prevention activities & programs in the corporate setting. Must be able to work independently. Must have good computer skills. CPR instructor preferred.

Computer, various general medical equipment.

• Position requires individuals to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds regularly.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
• Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
