Position Overview: Responsible for assessing patients referred by physicians to ensure appropriateness for procedures. Evaluates medical, surgical, and anesthesia histories, medications, and determines if additional medical clearance or pretreatment is necessary. Provides patient education regarding procedures and medication management, ensuring alignment with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient suitability for procedures based on medical history and current health status.
- Determine need for additional medical clearance or pretreatment prior to procedures.
- Educate patients on procedures and medication management.
- Perform duties in accordance with organizational standards and values.
- Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred.
- Active RN licensure with commitment to maintaining licensure.
- Experience with Optime scheduling preferred.
