Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Springfield, Missouri, 65804!

Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Nights)

Location

Springfield, Missouri

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week guaranteed | 13–26 week assignment

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all age groups in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
  • Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
  • Maintain professional accountability for provision of care and evaluate the effectiveness of care delivered by other direct care givers
  • Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
  • Function within the scope of nursing practice consistent with established state nursing practice guidelines, mission, and service standards
  • Demonstrate strong human relations and communication skills in a fast-paced, urban Level 1 Trauma, Stroke, STEMI, and regional burn center environment
Required Qualifications
  • Current RN license; must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently licensed in Missouri
  • Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility, or minimum 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility (must be reflected on resume)
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
  • TNCC certification required
  • NIHSS certification required prior to start date (submissions accepted without, but must be obtained before starting)
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required November 1 – April 1; declinations are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Experience with trauma and pediatric emergency patients
  • Experience in a high-volume environment (200+ patients per day) with high-acuity cases
  • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
  • Personality traits that align with a determined, decisive, and flexible working style
