Mercy Hospital's 6C Medical Neurology Unit offers a meaningful opportunity for nurses to increase their skills with patients requiring frequent neurological assessments, close monitoring for changes in mental status, and management of complex conditions such as stroke, seizures, traumatic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, and neuromuscular disorders. Many patients need assistance with mobility, fall prevention measures, medication management, swallowing precautions, and multidisciplinary care involving therapy services.

Registered Nurse (RN)
- Graduate of an accredited/state-approved School of Nursing
- Current RN license or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider/BLS certification or ability to obtain during orientation
- Recent nursing school graduate awaiting RN licensure
- Eligible to participate in Mercy's Graduate Nurse program
- Current LPN licensure in the state of practice
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care within a team-focused environment
